Jerry grew up playing all sports in Troy, Alabama, and eventually specialized in football, leading his high school team to a state championship. He was the FCA president in high school and at his university. He played football at Troy State University and won a National Championship in his senior year in 1985. Jerry graduated with a degree in Criminal Justice.
He moved to Miami in 1993, where he worked at FIU and Miami Dade College as a Life Skills Coordinator and athletics chaplain. He has coached football, baseball, and volleyball and has been in ministry in Miami for over 27 years. Jerry lives with his wife, Joy, in Coral Gables.

Brian Glasford is a Co-Pastor, along with his brother, Jason Glasford, of New Life Missionary Baptist Church in Liberty City, Florida.
Brian graduated from Hialeah Miami Lakes Sr. High, received a football scholarship to play at UCF, and later completed his education at St. Thomas University. He earned a Bachelor's degree in Communications and a Master’s in Sports Administration. Brian is an educator with Miami Dade College and has coached football and basketball.
Since his call to ministry in 2016, he has adopted his father’s life verse,
Psalm 32:8,
“I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way you should go; I will guide thee with mine eye.”
Brian lives in SW Miami-Dade with his wife, Brenda.
Avery Jones

Avery’s life’s mission is to know Him and make Him known. He loves the lost and desires to influence his world by influencing the influencers for Christ.
Avery is married to his high school sweetheart, Linda, and is the father of 3 – twins Nathanial, Kristen, and Jamie. Born in Kittery, Maine, his family took residence in Florida, where he attended Miami Killian Senior High School, University of Florida, and graduated with a BA from Florida International University. Avery was part of the school marching band.
Avery would tell his younger self, “God’s got you, so just go for it; it all works for good.”
